The Night Pirates is a well known and expected event created in 2007, takes place between March and maggio.I participants vestitida pirates search for treasure, you can participate with teams of ten people, called "crews". Participation is open to all, just sign up. The treasure hunt takes place on Saturday including the night and ends Sunday with the awards.
Porto Ercole, has as its patron saint St. Erasmus (Elmo) Legend has it that a bishop made his famous miracle, calming the storm and saving the fishermen at the mercy of the rough sea. The anniversary is June 2nd patron saint of the country. The celebrations: feature is the sea procession that takes place every year with a different vessel, carrying the statue with the relic of the saint. Since 1978 the prize has been held between the four districts of the country. The districts are named after the Spanish forts surrounding the town (Fort Philip, the Fortress, Forte Stella and Forte Santa Caterina). The prize consists of a rowing regatta that takes place inside the harbor, between the first and third week of June. The boats are fishing boats with four rowers with a coxswain.
